1. Please register your details
with us by completing the Beautiful New World form by joining us.
The programme will be interactive and we will update you on the
number of people who have joined so far at regular intervals. We’ll
also be asking for your ideas and feedback and this can be sent

2. Start to pay attention every day to the energies you encounter,
including your own thoughts and language. If you find yourself
thinking negative thoughts or speaking negative words (especially
those which are detrimental to yourself), tell yourself either
out loud or mentally to stop. Play back what you just thought or
said in the voice of your favourite comedian or cartoon character
in your head. You can’t take it seriously! Then play back
a more positive version of what is was you wanted to think or say
and deliberately make a habit of turning negative language and
thoughts into positive.
3. Spend at least 10 minutes a day meditating on what is right
with your world at this moment. Here is a list of suggestions to
help you get started. I realise they won ’t be applicable
to everyone, but you can use these if they are appropriate to you
or make your own list. Try adding to it every day and being grateful
for what is good in your life. For example:
- Access to clean water
- Your home/place of shelter
- Those you love
- Your health and fitness
- Any part of your body you particularly
like
- The fact that you can read and write
- The ability you have with the 5 senses – sight,
hearing, touch, taste, aromas
- Freedom of speech and movement
- The fact that you are alive today
- If you have a job and money – be
grateful for them even if they are not ideal
- Food and drink
- Medicines
- Our Mother Earth and all the abundance
she brings including – plants, trees that help us:
¬ build with materials they produce
¬ make clothing with the materials they produce
¬ access medicines to heal us
¬ see beauty and colour
¬ smell wonderful aromas
¬ enjoy foods they provide
¬ breathe the oxygen they produce
¬ provide shelter and food for all manner of living creatures
¬ shade us from the sun and so much more
4. Spend a further 10 minutes a day dreaming, visualizing and
imagining in minute detail, your vision of a perfect world. If
there are colours and images in your dream, see them clearly, sharpen
the images and turn up the colours. If there are sounds – turn
up the volume. Notice who and what is there. If there are any smells,
tastes or things to touch, experience them all in fine detail and
notice how that makes you feel and where you feel it. If something
doesn’t feel right, change it and make it better. Feel how
good your perfect world is and how good it makes you feel. Experience
the joy, pleasure and love around you and in everything see, hear,
taste, smell and touch. Breathe these feelings deep into your body,
through the solar plexus at the base of the ribs (expand your ribs
out and push out the abdomen so you can take in as much of this
feeling as possible) and feel them dispersing around your body
as you breathe out. Then, as you continue to breathe deeply from
the abdomen, feel those loving, nurturing, positive feelings expand
out beyond your body. Stretching as far above your head into the
heavens as possible and beneath your feet deep into our Mother
Earth as possible – out into infinity in both directions.
Push out this energy to either side of your body in both directions
into infinity. Then push the energy out to both diagonals far out
into infinity, sending each time feelings of healing, love, peace,
harmony, balance and light, so that you create a sphere of healing,
love, light, positivity, harmony, balance and peace which extends
in all directions way, way out into our universe. Imagine what
our world and our universe looks like when bathed in this beauty
and light. Set a date in the near future when all this will come
about. See it clearly, hear it, touch it, smell it, taste it and
hold it in your heart as you continue to breathe calmly and comfortably.
Know that you are making a difference every time you undertake
this practice and that you can benefit from this personally and
carry this beautiful feelings and vibrations back with you whenever
you choose.
When you’re ready, bring your attention back to the room,
move your hands and feet to increase the circulation and open your
eyes. Spend a few minutes contemplating your vision and if there
are any insights you want to remember, write them down. If you
wuld like to, please share these insights by e-mailing them to
us at heartshands.org. Keep a diary and notice any changes you
feel in you, in those around you and in your experiences and let
us know what’s happening for you.
5. You may also want to make collages from photos or draw images
of your perfect world and pin them up somewhere you see them regularly.
If you want to share these with our colleagues, then scan them
and send them to us.
Mini-Meditation For Busy People
If you're really short of time,
here's a simple meditation which allows you to participate no matter
how busy you are. You can do this in a bus, on a train, when stuck
in a traffic jam or wherever you can manage to safely take a few
moments.
Take a few deep breaths and relax. Then start to visualise an image
of the earth glowing with light and surrounded by a circle of men,
women and children holding hands - connecting and sending love
and healing to all things in, on and around the earth. Concentrate
on this image, whilst thinking "I see a world where all living
things connect and live in peace, harmony, joy and balance"
You may find an image or affirmation that you prefer or works better
for you and that's fine. The more you connect with the emotion
surrounding these images and thoughts, the more effective they
will be.
Practiced regularly, even the smallest effort can bring about positive
change and it all counts. |
